"Juste la fin du monde" de Jean-Luc Lagarce mis en scène par Serge Lipszyc (l'ARIA), est à l'affiche ce vendredi à compter de 20h30 au Théâtre Municipal de Bastia. L'histoire ?
Louis, le fils aîné revient pour annoncer sa mort prochaine. Il est à la fois le héros de la pièce et son narrateur. On est à la campagne, dans la maison de la Mère  et de Suzanne, sa petite sœur. Son frère Antoine et sa femme sont là aussi. Le huis clos peut commencer. Pas de naturalisme ici, Louis nous parle, il est conteur et acteur à la fois. Jean-Luc Lagarce écrit une pièce où se pose à tout moment la question de la théâtralité  et de la représentation. Les personnages de la pièce n'ignorent jamais que le public est là. Le public est acteur de la pièce.

"Just the end of the world" by Jean-Luc Lagarce staged by Serge Lipszyc (ARIA) is playing this Friday as from 20:30 at the Municipal Theatre of Bastia. The story?

Louis, the eldest son returns to announce his near death. He is on the one hand the hero of the piece and on the other hand the narrator. It is in the countryside, in the house of his Mother Suzanne and his little sister. His brother Antoine and his wife too. The camera can begin. No naturalism here, Louis speaks, he is a storyteller and actor at the same time. Jean-Luc Lagarce wrote a piece which arises at any time the question of theatricality and representation. The characters in the play are aware that the public is there. The actor is the public part.
